Fluorescent Light Diffuser Replacement
Fluorescent light diffuser replacement products from Make Great Light can turn your existing lighting into something that boosts your health, rather than hurts it. Our NaturaLux™ filters will fill your space with soothing, healthy natural light, eliminating the UV radiation and tiring glare coming from your existing lights. We manufacture our products in the United States, just as we have for more than 20 years.
How We Started
The inventor of our filters, Kevin Kirschner, is a renowned expert on the human visual system. He started out as an optometry technician in the U.S. Air Force, and then spent more than 40 years in the field. He would always receive the same complaint from people – they experienced visual fatigue, headaches and other issues due to artificial lighting systems such as fluorescent lighting.
He designed NaturaLux™ fluorescent light filters to solve those problems. They emulate full-spectrum light, the kind of light produced by the sun. That’s the type of light humans were meant to experience – not the light found in most offices, classrooms and other kinds of indoor spaces.
We now make our filters available to everyone, and offer them at affordable prices. We want to spread the word about the dangers of fluorescent lights, and help improve quality of life in the process.
Why Choose NaturaLux™ Filters?
Our filters cover existing LED and fluorescent lights in a cost-effective manner. You can vastly improve your indoor lighting without having to go to the expense of taking out your fixtures. These are just a few of the benefits our filters provide.
- They are extremely affordable.
- One person can easily install them.
- They’re not only compatible with fluorescent lights, but also LED lights.
- They’re made from the highest quality materials, so they’ll last a long time.
- You can easily cut your filters to match the size of your existing fixtures.
Benefits of Filling Your Space with Natural Indoor Light
These are just some of the reasons you should seriously consider putting filters from Make Great Light over your fluorescent lighting.
- Increased alertness – If you’re exhausted after a long day in the office or the classroom, it might not just be due to hard work. A lot of people who sit under fluorescent lights have to deal with issues like eyestrain, lack of focus, headaches and more. NaturaLux™ filters can help you feel more alert all day, every day.
- Reduced stress – Glare from fluorescent and LED lighting can increase anxiety, leading to increased stress as well. Natural light helps soothe the mind, helping you relax in the process.
- Increased productivity – It only makes sense that if you’re more relaxed and alert during the day, you’ll also be more productive. Natural light helps you do a better job of concentrating because you won’t have to deal with distracting glare.
- Improved sleep – If you spend too much time under fluorescent lights, that can interfere with your body’s ability to produce serotonin and melatonin. Serotonin helps you stay alert, while melatonin helps you sleep. Natural light, on the other hand, promotes proper hormone production.
